Invenios received European Life Science Award on May 29th 2012. A panel of judges with unrivaled expertise selected the winning entries for each category. Invenios received the Most Innovative New Service award for its Room Temperature Bonding technology. The award, was presented during a gala evening at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Hamburg, preceding Europe’s largest event dedicated to automation within life science.
The international jury, this year consisting of Enal Razvi (Analyst, Select Biosciences), Abraham Lee (Professor, University of California Irvine), Hakim Djaballah (Director, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center), Attila Felinger (Professor, University of Pecs), Steve Rees (VP Screening and Sample Management, AstraZeneca) and Anthony Davies (Director of High Content Research, Trinity College Dublin), offered Invenios a certificate of excellence and a beautiful crystal award.
Invenios’ Room Temperature Bonding technology provides a unique and unparalleled method to permanently bond several materials (such as glass-to-glass, glass-to-plastics, glass-to-silicon, glass-to-metal) without the use of adhesives or high temperatures. With this recently patented method enables researchers to enclose fluids, bio-coatings and living cells in transparent cavities without damaging the encapsulated product.
