Titanium Ti & Sapphire ATB™ Bonding

Above image shows burst test result for sapphire attached to titanium with ATB ™ (ambient temperature bonding). The sapphire broke with 560psi applied pressure over an 8mm diameter bond area.

High strength

  • Bond strengths ranging from 150 to 200 Mpa
    (Anodic bond strengths range from 5 to 25 Mpa)

Hermetically tested

  • Capable of 1 x 10-12 std cc He/s leak rate
    (Std cc He/s = standard cubic centimeters of Helium per second)
  • Passes Military Standard fine leak tests
